Previously, any staff member who had the "Institutional Master File (BEDS)/VADIR" application entitlement could log in and enter the VADIR/DASA data in the Business Portal application called "BEDS-IMF-School Safety".
As part of our larger effort to improve user experience, the SSEC/VADIR/DASA data are now being entered in the "IRS Data Exchange Application" at http://portal.nysed.gov. Only the CEO of the district, charter school or BOCES will have entitlements to the "School Safety and the Educational Climate(SSEC)" application within the IDEx. The CEO or Delegated Administrator must entitle any additional staff to the "School Safety and the Educational Climate(SSEC)" application to complete the online SSEC form.
Please note: Only the CEO of the district, charter school or BOCES will be able to complete the Attestation and Submission on each SSEC form.
